Kids Dance Center offers kids dance classes in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Acro, along with a Toddler and Me class. The program also offers camps, including summer camps, as well as Kids Night Out events. Dance classes are organized to match each child’s developmental age and stage, and camp days include time for dance and themed activities.
• Ages: 2–12 years old
• Schedule: Camp opens at 7:30 daily and campers must be picked up by 5:30
• Price: A Camp Deposit of $50.00, per week, per child is required for all camp sessions.
Kids Dance Center is an exclusively non-competitive studio, meaning it does not have a competitive team and focuses on dance skills and performance opportunities instead of competition. The studio’s lobby culture is non-competitive, with parents, students, and staff described as encouraging and welcoming, and the environment is described as family-like. The program follows four pillars: Skill Building, Center Movement, Just For Fun, and Showtime, which include learning dance skills, practicing choreographed combinations, taking part in dance activities and storylines, and preparing for on-stage performances with choreography and costumes. Every dancer is expected to practice kindness and respect in and out of the classroom, and every staff member is trained and willing to engage in lessons of kindness and respect and to create this environment within their classroom. The stated mission is that dancers of all levels should feel great when they leave dance class. All students must bring a snack and water bottle daily.
