Lutherhill Ministries Summer Camp and Retreats offers Summer Camp, Day Camp, and year-round retreats that include worship, study, and play. Participants have access to a challenge course with a zip line, giant swing, low rope area, and other team building elements, along with recreational activities that include use of a pool and pond. The program also hosts special events such as birthdays, weddings, baptisms, and more.
• Schedule: From June through the first week of August Lutherhill provides summer camp for youth and families.
• Price: Deposit Amounts: $150 for all programs with the exception of Jr. High Connect & LYLE programs ($300 deposit). For retreats, cancellations received 14+ days before the first day of the retreat are eligible for a refund less a $30 administrative fee.
People have enjoyed Lutherhill Ministries since 1954. Lutherhill Ministries is a ministry of the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, with a mission statement that says: “Lutherhill Ministries… the love of Christ in unique settings and new ways. Our mission is to be a place for all people.” The facilities accommodate all ages, all people, all year round, and include a challenge course, pool, and pond, with professional staff to lead worship, team-building activities, and recreational activities, as well as food service or facilities that allow groups to cook for themselves. Lutherhill’s Carby Chapel Center is a place to celebrate milestones such as birthdays, weddings, and baptisms. Many congregations use Lutherhill Day Camp staff to supplement their current VBS program, and Lutherhill serves individuals and families, business teams, family reunions, and congregations for adult, family, or youth retreats, including overnight or day retreats and Day Camp at congregational facilities.
