620 Dance Centre

620 Dance Centre offers dance classes that include ballet, tap, tumbling, hip hop, jazz, contemporary dance, modern dance, and performance dance. The program includes pre-school dance classes, children’s combo classes, kids dance classes, teen dance classes, pointe classes, drill team classes, and a drill team skills class. The studio also offers a non-competitive dance team called Debut Dance Company, as well as dance studio rental for activities such as yoga classes and church groups.

The 620 Dance Centre has provided dance classes for young artists in Austin, Texas since 1985. Its mission states that it aims to inspire and nurture a passion for dance through a well-rounded, professional dance education and to foster creativity, self-discipline, and confidence in every student, with a goal of cultivating a supportive environment for artistic and personal growth. The leadership team includes Director Dana Nunn, Administrative Assistant Faith Luera, DPC Company Director Gywnn Loud, and DPC Company Director Assistant Makenzie Peacock. Community performances have included events such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Austin Trail of Lights, Lakeway Lights On & Eggstravaganza, Bee Cave Chamber of Commerce Jingle Bell Run, and the Leander Kite Fest. Unique features include the Debut Dance Company for dancers ages 7–17, a Dance Calendar with important dates, an annual Spring Concert, Dance Shoe Fitting, a Fall Open House, and the 40th Anniversary Season “Cheers to 40 Years” 2026 Spring Concert.
