Lantana Golf Club Junior Golf Programs include junior golf clinics, private and group golf lessons, and an organized junior golf summer camp. The program takes place at an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Jay and Carter Morrish, with access to a full service practice range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. Participants also have access to state of the art practice facilities with a grass driving range, putting green and short game areas, and families can take part in family and kid’s events, holiday family and kid’s events, and other social events.
Lantana Golf Club Junior Golf Programs are part of a club that offers men’s, women’s, and junior golf clinics, as well as organized MGA, LGA and Couples events. The club has a state of the art fitness facility with cardiovascular, circuit training, free weights and strength training equipment, and offers fitness classes, themed dinners, social events, holiday brunches, and a member grill serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. All membership categories are family memberships that include the member, spouse and dependent children less than 23 years of age.
The program is supported by a PGA Certified Professional Staff and a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Leadership and key staff include General Manager Jessica Salinas, Director of Golf Jamie Davison, Head Golf Professional Drew Denton, Assistant Golf Professional Brad Harley, Director of Player Development Jamie Thompson, Personal Trainer Michael Pratt, and Doctor of Physical Therapy Dr. Melody Coates, along with additional operations, culinary, and member relations staff. The club states as its mission that families can experience a family friendly lifestyle at Lantana, with a setting for golf, fitness, dining and special events, and that it strives to make Lantana a home away from home where members make friends for a lifetime and share experiences for generations to come.
Lantana Golf Club has been the home of the Byron Nelson Championship Pre-Qualifying Tournament for the last 8 years and has been the home of the PGA Q-School for 14 years and for 11 years, as stated in its history.
