Kidventure Camps operates the non-profit “Ollie’s Kids,” established in 2022, which runs Camp Rainbow Days to provide summer camp experiences to children experiencing homelessness. The organization notes that it has brought “The Kidventure Way” to families across Texas for over three decades and describes itself as a registered trademark of Kidventure, Inc.
Parent and staff testimonials describe experiences that include children playing all day without TV, enjoying trips such as Typhoon Texas, Top Golf, and Battlefield Houston, and taking part in service activities like volunteering at local food pantries and creating snack packs and hygiene kits for homeless individuals. Testimonials also mention weekly group discussions centered around core values such as trustworthiness and authentic communication, options for afternoon extended care and meal plans including pizza on Fridays, and staff who are described as patient, enthusiastic, and kind. Staff testimonials describe Kidventure Camps as providing a family environment, opportunities to grow as a leader, and reasons for returning to work with the program over multiple years.
