Camp Balcones Springs was established in 1993 and is described as a “secret, small paradise.” The camp is led by Christine Baskin, Camp Owner and Director, who is also referred to as a camp mom, and by a forward-thinking, welcoming, and affirming year-round team of seasoned camp professionals. The summer staff is comprised of returning campers, veteran counselors, experienced coaches, and new staff who join each year. Camp Balcones Springs is rooted in the Christian faith and its values, and its mission is to change lives for the better through fun, relationships, and spiritual impact.
