The Summer Music Camp at ETBU states that it is accessible to students of all ability levels and that each student will have opportunities to increase musical abilities, build confidence, and develop good musical habits. Every camp activity is supervised by camp faculty and ETBU Band Camp Counselors. Camp faculty consists of ETBU professors and band directors from the surrounding area, and ETBU Band Camp Counselors are ETBU undergraduate students involved in the band program and/or recent ETBU graduates. All campers must have a signed medical, liability, and photo release form on file, and camp enrollment is not transferable to anyone else. Summer Music Camp registration is scheduled to open on February 4, 2026.

Resident campers stay in Fry Hall, with residential camper check-in on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the lobby of Fry Hall. Campers are instructed to bring their own instrument, with a note that most school districts are willing to check out school instruments for use at a summer camp, and ETBU owns instruments but not enough for every student. Percussionists are asked to bring a set of drum sticks, and campers provide their own sheets or sleeping bags for twin-size beds.
