• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Worship services on Thursdays at 6:45pm and on Sundays at 9:30am and 11:00am, with additional student gatherings during the school year and church office hours Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm
Grace Christian Church was founded in 1995, purchased its first facility in 1996, joined with the Christian Church of Odessa in 2005, and moved into its current Billy Hext Rd. location in 2007. In 2017, it began a Mother's Day Out program that has grown into a state-licensed child care facility that meets on the church campus during the week. The church offers Thursday Church with the same worship and message as the Sunday service on a different day, and services can also be watched online via Facebook Live, YouTube Live, or the church website.
During worship services, a staffed nursery room is available to children 6 weeks old to 3 years old for the entire service, and classes for children 3 years old through 5th grade are available during the whole service. Kids can be dropped off at their class 10 minutes before service begins, and 6th–12th grade students participate in the main service on Sunday mornings. There is a separate event for 6th–12th grade students on Sunday evenings during the school year in the Student Building from 5:30–7:00pm.
The leadership team includes Ben Ford as Lead Pastor, Jonathan Horton as Executive Pastor, Noah Byford as Student & Young Adults Minister, David Cadena as Adult Ministry Pastor, Jonathan Mendoza as Tech Team Manager, Allison Moon as Kids Ministry Assistant, Michele Racca as Kids Ministry Director, Mallary Wentz as Kids & Care Director, Christine Fisher as Secretary, and Erika Willis as Hospitality & Purchasing Coordinator. The church states that it makes disciples of Jesus Christ by leading people to grow in faith through a personal relationship with Him and describes itself as a church that desires to see God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, inviting people to serve together in Odessa, Texas, and around the world. The program notes that Life Groups are presented as an easy place to belong and meet lifelong friends, and the church offers free coffee in the coffee area located directly off of the main foyer.
