About
Bay Area Equestrian Center Horse Camps and Riding Lessons offers riding lessons, horse camps, summer horse camps, spring camp, and winter camps. Participants learn riding skills and equine knowledge, including how to tack, how to groom, and how to cool the horse down after a hot summer ride. The program includes foundation lessons, regular group lessons, private lessons, and a competitive national show program.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Riding lessons are available Monday–Sunday, with camps offered in winter, spring, and summer; foundation lessons are 30-minute sessions.
Bay Area Equestrian Center Horse Camps and Riding Lessons offers beginner through advanced riding lessons, with home school and adult classes available for ages 6 years and up, and all new riders start with foundation lessons. The program’s mission, as stated by owner Lynn Almond, is: “Our mission is to positively impact people's lives through fostering relationships with the power and wonder of horses.” The leadership team includes Owner Lynn Almond, General Manager Helene Fitzgerald, Head Trainer Laurie Long, Assistant Trainer/Instructor Krista Wilkes, office staff member Michele Gunn, Instructors Mallory Polk, Linda Greywolf, and Jordan Lambert, Head Groom Edgar Chamarro, and Helper Erin Flores.
