Bay Area Equestrian Center Riding Lessons and Horse Camps offers riding lessons and horse camps that include summer, winter, and spring horse camps. The program includes foundation lessons, regular group lessons, and private lessons, along with teaching care and handling of horses, learning how to tack and groom horses, and cooling the horse down after a hot summer ride.

Bay Area Equestrian Center has been in service since 1995 and states it has over 28 years of service to the community and has been a vital part of the Greater Houston equestrian community since 1995. The facility is a full service equestrian facility, riding academy, and national caliber Arabian show resource, with a weather independent, spacious, well-lighted indoor arena that has seating for guests and family and large overhead fans, and stables that are home to numerous teaching horses, many retired show horses, and dozens of national show quality horses. The program includes a show program on the Arabian show circuit through the national level for youth and adults, and the Show Team attends the Youth National Arabian and Half-Arabian shows annually. Bay Area Equestrian Center states that it promotes a healthy, drug-free, active and athletic lifestyle, and that all levels of riders are welcome and all ages and rider skill levels are accepted, with home school and adult classes available for ages 6 years and up. For riding lessons, participants need long pants and boots, and Bay Area Equestrian Center supplies the rest. The leadership team includes Owner Lynn Almond, General Manager Helene Fitzgerald, Head Trainer Laurie Long, Assistant Trainer/Instructor Krista Wilkes, Office staff member Michele Gunn, Instructors Mallory Polk, Linda Greywolf, and Jordan Lambert, Head Groom Edgar Chamarro, and Helper Erin Flores.
