Art Centre Theatre operates as an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its main objectives include presenting recurring seasons of theatrical and artistic works, producing new, traditional, local, dramatic, comedic, musical, and experimental works at low cost to the public, presenting entertaining and educational children's programming during the school day, evenings, and weekends, satisfying the needs of special audiences, and instilling in the community a sense of unity and cohesion through works that challenge conventional ideals and commonly accepted mores.
