Adventure Academy includes hands-on activities such as tracing letters in shaving cream and playing in a little house complete with a kitchen and table. Children spend time outside for outdoor play twice a day, weather permitting, where they can clamber and climb over three separate child-safe playgrounds, chase their friends, dig in the garden, slide down a mushroom slide, enjoy rubber bouncers, march up climbers, drive Little Tikes cars and bikes, tackle climbing structures, and make friends playing soccer. Infants can rest in a stroller or have tummy time outside as part of their day.

The program uses the Frog Street curriculum for kindergarten readiness and includes a focus on emotional intelligence and practical life skills for independence. An experienced team, including some staff with more than 15 years of longevity, works in the classrooms, and teachers are described as attentive and hypervigilant. The program holds a Texas Rising Star rating for quality-based care. Daily sanitizing uses state-of-the-art electrostatic spraying in classrooms, bathrooms, and playgrounds, and safety measures include cameras, limited entry access, and a fenced-in yard.
