Kids University

Kids University offers age-appropriate activities and crafts that allow each child to show their own personalities and creativity. The program uses activities and crafts within an enriching and stimulating atmosphere.

• Ages: 6 weeks–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Kids University is a state certified childcare center with strict safety policies and age-appropriate rooms for Infants, Toddlers, and Pre-School children. The center uses the Lillio (formerly Funshine Express) curriculum for children 2 years and younger and the High Scope Curriculum for children 3 years and up, and both curriculums use a play-based approach to learning. The program includes positive guidance programs and treats each child as an educator in themselves by recognizing the prior knowledge they bring to the classroom. Kids University is a Texas Rising Star center.

The stated goal of Kids University is to ensure the care, security, nurturing and development of each child in a safe, loving and professional environment. Within its care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth, and the program states that children can thrive and have the opportunity to blossom into responsible and contributing members of society. Kids University welcomes children ages 6 weeks through 12 years and states that it provides care in a clean, safe and educational environment for young children and their families.

All staff at Kids University are trained in First Aid and CPR. Staff members are required to have ongoing training in the early child education field through conferences, training seminars, in-house training, and training webinars. The leadership team includes Director Ms. Jessica and Assistant Director Mrs. Cristy.
