Kids University

Kids University offers age-appropriate activities that include crafts. The program uses play-based learning through specific curricula for different age groups.

• Ages: 0–12 years old
• Schedule: Hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Kids University has age-appropriate rooms for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. The program uses the Lillio (formerly Funshine Express) curriculum for children 2 years and younger, and the High Scope Curriculum for children 3 years and up. Both curricula use a play-based approach to learning. Kids University opened in 2006. The director is Ms. Jessica, and the assistant director is Mrs. Cristy. All staff are trained in First Aid and CPR, and the program requires ongoing training for staff through conferences, training seminars, in-house training, and training webinars in the early child education field. Kids University is a state certified childcare program and is a Texas Rising Star center. The program states that its goal is to ensure the care, security, nurturing and development of each child in a safe, loving and professional environment, and it states that it strives to provide a clean, safe and educational environment for young children and their families.
