Children's Lighthouse Rockwall offers values-based early childhood education using the proprietary Lighthouse CARES curriculum and the Lighthouse Pathways approach to learning. The program includes Infant, Toddler, and Preschool curriculums based on character values, as well as a STREAM-focused curriculum for school-age children. It also offers a before and after school program, with real-time video monitoring, secure keypad entry, and age-appropriate playgrounds in a family-owned and operated setting.

Children's Lighthouse was founded in 1997 and has been in existence for more than twenty-five years, and each Children's Lighthouse school is independently owned and operated. The Children's Lighthouse Franchise Company system is accredited by Cognia, and each independently owned and operated school is encouraged to become accredited by Cognia. Children's Lighthouse Rockwall is a TEFA-Approved School, and families approved for Texas Education Freedom Accounts may use their funding at Children's Lighthouse.
The Director of Education and Training, Dr. Kristi Smith, understands the importance of partnering with families to provide the educational materials that will lay the groundwork for lifelong academic success. The program’s mission statement is: “We Create a Safe, Fun, and Happy Place That Gives Your Child Confidence, a Sense of Comfort Today, and a Lifelong Love of Learning, Friendship, and Community.”
Parents have shared that the staff are great, the building is clean and safe, and the educational program is fabulous, with a curriculum that encourages exploration, good communication skills, and fun-filled learning activities from infancy, according to Salina B. Another parent, Natasha S., stated that they visited several child care centers and felt that none compared to Children's Lighthouse, noting that the facility is great and the staff is wonderful. Rebecca I. reported that, as a former professional nanny, she is very particular about childcare and that this school has surpassed her expectations, describing teachers who work with each child patiently and make them feel cared for as if they were their own.
