Camp Agape Grief Recovery is a ministry bringing hope to grieving children and families through in-person programs and its founding Camp in a Box model. One grief coach and chaplain shared that, as a “buddy,” grief coach and chaplain, he has seen how God heals little broken hearts there and heals entire families at the family camp. Volunteers have described Camp Agape Grief Recovery as a safe place for children to grieve and meet other kids with similar losses, and as a place that offers compassion, healing activities, community, acceptance, and laughter as campers are guided through this faith based program.
