Camp SAY is a two-week sleepaway camp where campers take part in activities such as archery, four rock climbing walls, zip-lining, horseback riding, and visiting a nature center with animals. The program also offers time in an art studio, a climate-controlled sports pavilion, and an extensive water-scape with a lazy river and splash pool, as well as gatherings in an amphitheater. Campers are paired with camp buddies so that older and younger campers can share a mentoring experience, and speech therapy is available.

• Schedule: Camp SAY 2026 will be held from July 18–July 31 as an American Camp Association (ACA)-Accredited, two-week sleepaway camp.
• Price: Camp SAY offers sliding scale rates, including assistance for travel, and no child has been turned away from programming due to a family’s inability to pay.
Camp SAY is the world’s largest summer camp dedicated to young people who stutter and is an ACA-Accredited camp for kids and teens who stutter, along with their family members and friends who do not. Every activity and program is specially designed to meet each child’s individual goals and needs, and campers are welcomed by friendly staff and fellow campers who stutter. The camp’s mission statement is “We believe that every voice matters.” Camp SAY is a program of SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young, a national non-profit organization.
Camp SAY is hosted at Morgan’s Camp, a state-of-the-art, $34 million campsite on 102 tree-studded acres of rolling hills that includes beautiful, air-conditioned indoor spaces for cabins, a dining hall, theater, basketball court, arts and crafts studio, and more. Hartman Hall is a 30,000-square-foot facility that houses the dining hall and a stage with a complete A/V system, a 34.5-foot diagonal projector screen, and two 75-inch TV screens on each side of the stage. The site also includes a large air-conditioned arts and crafts center with a library and a digital photography studio. Each bunk has twin extra-large beds, storage cubbies, and microban flooring throughout the cabin, and each cabin has a front porch. Morgan’s Camp has committed to being the host site for Camp SAY for as long as the program chooses to be there, and its model is built to support programs that create a space of belonging for underserved populations. The mission and commitment of the staff of Morgan’s Camp fit together with Camp SAY Community Standards.
The Camp Director is Rich Stephens. One parent shared that, with the guidance, support, and love at Camp SAY, they watched their son show a side of himself they did not know he was capable of expressing and that Camp SAY will benefit his self-esteem and growth for years to come. Another testimonial states that SAY creates an environment where kids who stutter can improve their communication skills and gain confidence.
