Morgan’s Camp offers an Ultra-Accessible camp experience that includes a challenge course called Fort Challenge, climbing walls, ziplines called Canyon Run, and a winding pool. Fort Challenge has four climbing walls, upper decks with a wheelchair ramp, and an original design and pulley system that allows wheelchairs to glide with ease onto the course. Canyon Run features ziplines that are 11 stories high and include two seated ziplines, one 450 feet long and one 700 feet long, and each seated zipline allows two people to ride side-by-side or individually.

Morgan’s Camp is described as a camp for all ages and abilities and is open all year long. It is described as the first camp where everyone can play and as an Ultra-Accessible camp with a particular emphasis on giving people with physical and developmental disabilities an opportunity to enjoy summer-camp-type activities alongside guests without special needs. The ziplines at Morgan’s Camp are described as the first in the world to allow people of all abilities to fly across the sky. Morgan’s Camp is described as a 102-acre paradise of play, a nurturing place of learning about nature, and an inspirational outpost for all seasons and all people.
Morgan’s Camp is part of the broader Morgan’s Wonderland initiative, which in 2010 became the world’s first Ultra-Accessible, fully-inclusive theme park. The leadership and founding team connected to Morgan’s Camp and Morgan’s Wonderland includes Gordon Hartman, philanthropist and former homebuilder, Maggie Hartman, Joe Gorder, Chairman, President and CEO of Valero Energy Corp., Lacie Gorder, Bill Klesse, former Chairman, President and CEO of Valero Energy Corp., and Margie Klesse. Valero Energy Corp. of San Antonio is the founding partner of Morgan’s Camp and has provided financial support, and the Edwards Aquifer Authority Education Outreach Center is housed at Morgan’s Camp.
