Drama Kids

Drama Kids offers drama classes, acting classes, and Take 2 classes focused on stage productions. The program also offers summer camps and holiday camps, along with a free trial class option for families who want to try a class. It is described as the nation’s largest after-school drama program, with in-school drama and acting classes held at the child’s school and community acting and drama classes held at various locations where anyone can attend.

One parent shared that their shy child began “coming out of her shell” and now eagerly looks forward to Drama Kids each week. A student said that when they first started Drama Kids they thought it would be boring, but later said the teachers “are the bomb” and that the program inspires them, including feeling that their presentation skills will be strong when they are ready to run for president. Another parent described Drama Kids as laying “a great foundation for life,” mentioning skills for speaking clearly and in groups in what they called a safe atmosphere. A school partner reported experiencing “extremely professional employees, open and consistent communication, and dedication on the part of the staff” over the course of a school year. One family called Drama Kids the best after-school program they had experienced and described the quality of the instructors and weekly communication as “top-notch.” A long-time participant said their years in the program had been “sensational,” that the classes had “unleashed many hidden talents,” and that the program helped them grow into the person they are today.
