Drama Kids

Drama Kids offers in-school drama and acting classes, community acting and drama classes, Take 2 classes focused on stage productions, and summer and holiday camps and events. The program also includes Kinder Kids, Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Composite, and Acting Academy drama and acting classes that focus on drama and acting activities. In-school drama and acting classes are held at the child’s school, and community acting and drama classes are held at various locations where anyone can attend.

At Drama Kids, the stated mission is to focus on the positive development of critical lifetime skills like public speaking, creative thinking, leadership and social skills. Drama Kids is described as the nation’s largest after-school drama program and has been named the #1 Drama & Theatre School; Drama Kids International has been named the #1 Children’s…. Programs are available for ages 4–5 years old, 6–8 years old, 9–11 years old, and 12–17 years old, and there are franchise ownership and part-time teaching opportunities as a Drama Kids teacher.

Parent and student feedback includes comments such as a parent describing a shy child who now eagerly looks forward to Drama Kids each week and calls it the best day of the week. A student reports that they initially expected Drama Kids to be boring but later felt inspired by the teachers and connected their experience to feeling prepared for future presentation skills.
