About
Texas East Kids offers gymnastics, Pre-school Gymnastics, Boys Gymnastics, Girl’s Gymnastics, Cheer Tumbling Classes, and a Preschool Jungle Gym. The program also includes Kinder Prep Academy, Cheer Clinic sessions, Friday Fun Night events, seasonal camps for Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break, and themed parties with soccer, ninja, gymnastics, or build-your-own themes.

Texas East Kids operates within Texas East Gymnastics and uses a gym with smaller sized equipment and a specialized setting for preschool, as well as a spring floor, trampolines, tumble track, pit, and mirrors for cheer tumbling. The program includes a level system based on skill mastery for Girl’s Gymnastics, training on all four Olympic events for girls plus trampoline, and Boys Gymnastics on the six men’s Olympic events plus trampoline and related activities. It offers a program specifically developed for children ages 2–4, Kinder Prep Academy for 3- and 4-year-olds based on child development research, and Cheer Tumbling Classes for girls and boys ages eight and over. Texas East Kids states that it is here to develop children’s love for movement through fun activities and sports.
Beginning with gymnastics 50 years ago, the program is led by second-generation owners Martin and Stacy Parsley and Marlynne Parsley Finch. Its gymnasts compete in the USA Gymnastics Federation, which is the governing body of International Gymnastics Competition. Texas East Kids reports having one of the most successful teams in Texas, with many State and Regional Champions, National Qualifiers, a Pre-Elite National Team Member, and an Elite gymnast who competed in the Championships of the USA.
