The program also includes dance jazz, lyrical, and hip hop classes, dance competition teams, cheerleading competition teams, tumbling competition teams, stunt competition teams, and strength training.

Diamond Athletics began in 2010 and officially opened in Fall 2012, and was founded in 2012 by Nick and Kelli. The organization describes itself as a premier athletic training organization dedicated to providing athletes with cutting-edge training programs, equipment, and resources to help develop them for the next level. Its mission states that it strives to uplift athletes to reach their full potential through positive reinforcement and clear direction, with programs built on Christian values and a coaching style rooted in positive reinforcement and clear direction on and off the field. The mission also states that the programs are designed to foster confidence, discipline, and excellence, guide students toward collegiate and professional opportunities, nurture personal growth, and support all ages and skill levels. The facilities include indoor batting cages, outdoor fields, a large trampoline, a tumbling floor, a giant gym, strength training areas, a spring floor, an air track, boulders, and gym and fields in Central Texas, with facilities across the nation. The program notes that equipment and uniforms are based on the sport.

The leadership team includes Josh Newman (Owner/Director of the Softball Program), Nick Santos (Founder and Director of the Baseball Program), and Kelli Talley Santos (Founder and Dance/Cheer Director). Josh Newman earned his BS in Education from Baylor University in 2004 and was part of the NFCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year in 2009. Nick Santos holds a Masters of Education in Kinesiology and a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science. Kelli Talley Santos holds a Master of Arts in Performance Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Dallas Baptist University, is an AACCA Certified coach, received the Christian Leadership scholarship at Dallas Baptist University, earned MVP and the Timothy Leadership Awards at DBU, and was a 5-time UCA All-Star Cheerleader.

The mission statement notes that Diamond Athletics was founded from Nick and Kelli’s shared passion for sports and Christian values and emphasizes coaching athletes’ hearts, not just their skills, in a supportive, family-oriented environment. The program states that many former students have been recruited for college athletics across the nation and that it offers opportunities for college recruiting across all sports. One parent testimonial says, “We are so thankful for our family at diamond athletics! They have helped filled a part of my children's lives that is christ led, and goes beyond athletics. The whole experience has really impacted our lives. thankful.” Kelli recently participated as a pro in Dancing with the Waco Stars, a fundraiser for the Family Abuse Center.
