Cadence Academy Preschool, Wylie uses the Ascend Curriculum, which supports academic, physical, emotional, and creative development and includes activities in Cultural Understanding, Baby Signs, Literacy, Mathematics, and Technology. Teachers personalize learning activities, use small group instruction, and incorporate the Kind Child program, which focuses on character traits such as Responsibility, Thankfulness, Sharing, and a Positive Self-Image while promoting happiness, positive friendships, and social-emotional development. The program offers before and after school care for school-age children, including transportation to and from local elementary schools, and provides family involvement with daily opportunities for parents to see teachers, along with daily communication, email updates, and photos. Cadence Academy Preschool, Wylie includes multiple age-appropriate playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces, and a full-time cook prepares and serves a nutritious breakfast, hot lunch, and scheduled snacks each day.
