Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center Youth Programs

Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center Youth Programs include summer camp, field trips, outdoor living skills, and nature education. The programs also connect with the Southwest Virginia Outdoor Adventures program, which offers hike, bike, and kayak excursions. Additional activities at the center include retreats, team building, strategic planning, leadership, and facilitation events, along with Road Scholars events and other adult events for quilters, scrapbookers, and adventurers.

The Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center is a nonprofit organization with youth programs that include summer camp, field trips, outdoor living skills, nature education, and other activities. It has been serving the community for over 60 years. Its mission is to empower youth and adults to grow through skill-building, camping, and educational programs. The center is part of a partnership that includes the Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center and Virginia Cooperative Extension, Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and local governments. Its facilities, programs, and employment are open to all regardless of age, color, disability, sex (including pregnancy), gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, military status, or any other basis protected by law.
