Huntley Meadows Park Classes and Camps offers activities such as the Outdoor Science Lab at Huntley, World Wetlands Day Sketch Hike, Wetland at Dusk Walk, and Corn Grinding and Clay Pottery. Additional programs include the Hot Cocoa Wetland Night Hike, Lichens Sketch Hike, and birdwatching. From Sept. 1 to Nov. 30, the Norma Hoffman Visitor Center hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays except Tuesdays, and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends.

• Price: There is a fee for groups of 12 or more. Group pass: $30 for up to 60 people; for groups beyond 60, it's $30 for the initial 60 and $1 per additional person.
Huntley Meadows Park Classes and Camps is part of a site that includes the Norma Hoffman Visitor Center, Historic Huntley, wetland restoration areas, trails, picnic areas with shelters, canopies and gazebos, waterfront parks, nature and history resources, sports and fitness areas, specialty attractions, recreation centers, and golf courses. The program is led by Karen Sheffield, Manager, Huntley Meadows Park. Huntley Meadows Park connects participants to treasured homes and habitats, including a nationally significant historic house, forests, meadows, and wetlands. The park is known for some of the best wildlife watching in the Washington metropolitan area. Dogs are allowed only on specific trails, with no dogs on the boardwalk, and there is no fishing or netting in the park. Bikes, scooters, skateboards, segways, and tricycles are restricted to the South Kings Hwy hike-bike trail, and there is no amplified sound in the park.
