Hybla Valley Community Center Programs and Activities offers options such as intramural sports, sports clubs, fitness classes, and access to fitness equipment. Participants can take part in activities including Homework Club, Creative Arts, Bike Club, Social Clubs, a Knitting Club, and project-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) activities. The program also includes Social-Emotional Learning, Positive Developmental Relationships, leadership and workforce development programs, youth employment opportunities, civic engagement and community service/service learning projects, adult sports leagues, adult education classes, professional and personal development workshops and classes, workforce development workshops, technology access, transportation, and trips of necessities.

• Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m.

The center opened on April 4, 2022, and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 9, 2022. The mission of the center is to host community events and activities that give participants the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, promote healthy lifestyles and have fun. The Service Area Manager is Crystal Woodley. The Workforce Innovation Skills Hub (WISH) at the center is a partnership that provides services designed to help the community to develop its workforce, support business, and cultivate a thriving economy. Therapeutic Recreation Services works in conjunction with regional services and alongside NCS Culture, Recreation, and Community Connections staff and the inclusion specialist to provide services and programs for individuals of all abilities. Unique features at the center include the Workforce Innovation and Skills Hub (WISH), a podcasting and music studio, a sensory room, and a community garden, and all NCS Community, Senior and Teen Centers serve as warming and cooling centers during extreme weather. Visitors using the center for warming or cooling services will not have access to community center programming or classes unless they are a current registered member.
