Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center Programs & Camps

Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center Programs & Camps offers natural resource education, outdoor adventure, shooting education, and youth leadership development. Participants can also take part in decoy carving workshops, weaving workshops, and a challenge course. The programs include various camps and workshops throughout the year for the whole family, as well as a Cloverbud program introducing children to the 4-H camping experience and a program called Camp CatchEm All.

Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center Programs & Camps are part of Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center, which has served the youth and adults of Central and Southside Virginia since 1940. The center’s mission is to improve the quality of life through educating youth and adults in a natural setting. Each summer, the center provides an education in outdoor living for over 2,000 youth and adults from 17 counties and 2 cities in Central Virginia, and it offers events year round for youth, families, and adults. Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center/Virginia Cooperative Extension is a partnership of Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and local governments, and is an equal opportunity employer. The center has marked milestones such as its 75th Anniversary and the Girls’ Bathhouse Ribbon Cutting.
