About

Bull Run Mountains Conservancy Educational Programs offers educational programs for adults and children that focus on the ecological, historical, and cultural features of the Bull Run Mountains Region. Research underpins these education programs, and for over 30 years the organization has sponsored, assisted, and facilitated numerous baseline studies that add data to the understanding of the landscape. The programs are based at the Mountain House Headquarters.

Bull Run Mountains Conservancy is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1994 to protect the Bull Run Mountains Region through education, research, and stewardship. The organization promotes and facilitates the preservation of land on and around the Bull Run Mountains from their southern ridges in New Baltimore to their northern end in Aldie, Virginia and the surrounding landscape 5–10 miles in all directions. Its vision is for an active and healthy community, where preservation is an engaged and committed endeavor by people who care for the Piedmont landscape. Mountain House Headquarters is located about 15 minutes from Manassas, Middleburg, and Warrenton, Virginia.
