Henrico Police Athletic League Youth Programs include an After School Program, Summer Camp, Youth Basketball League, Youth Leadership Council, and Open Gym Night. The program also offers the Henrico PAL Music Academy, the Johnny Newman Basketball Clinic, the PAL Dance Program, a Chess Program, a STEM Program, and a Financial Literacy Program. Henrico PAL programs and facilities are available to all youth, regardless of their race, religion or financial situation.

Henrico Police Athletic League is a non-profit 501(c)(3), Virginia State Licensed, evidence-based, youth-crime prevention organization with the cooperative effort of the community and is committed to providing safe and structured activities to the youth of Henrico. Henrico Police Athletic League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and Virginia State Licensed. PAL employs officers and a highly trained civilian staff to oversee these programs to ensure safety, competency and order. The Police Athletic / Activities Leagues, Inc. has a 90-year history of caring and providing alternatives for youth at risk, was started in 1910 by NYPD, and the Henrico Police Athletic League was established in 2007. Henrico Police Athletic League is a youth-crime prevention organization with the cooperative effort of the community and builds friendships between law enforcement officers and children within the community. Henrico Police Athletic League is an evidence-based youth-crime prevention organization that offers year-round and seasonal sports programs, after-school education programs, and summer camps, and its programs and facilities are available to all youth, regardless of their race, religion or financial situation.
