Hampton Virginia Aquaplex Youth Programs include Summer Splash Camp, Youth Swim Lessons, Masters Swim Training, American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid Certification, and Special Needs Adaptive Swim lessons. The program also offers birthday parties and homeschool swim lessons that are planned based on interest.
• Ages: 6–15 years old
• Schedule: Facility hours are Monday–Friday 6 AM–8 PM, Saturday 7 AM–6 PM, and Sunday 12 PM–6 PM. SplashDown Park is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid Certification courses are available through Hampton Virginia Aquaplex Youth Programs. Second graders in Hampton City Public Schools each receive a season of free swim lessons that are coordinated outside of the standard swim lesson programming. Children 15 and under require a guardian to be present at all times, and a parent or guardian waiver is required for all guests under 18 years of age. The program’s aquatic areas are handicap accessible, with pools that feature chair lifts.
