Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center

Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center offers equine assisted activities that include adaptive riding, individual lessons, and group lessons. All activities take place by appointment at the Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center facility and are conducted under the guidance of PATH Intl. certified riding instructors.

• Schedule: Individual and group lessons are scheduled Tuesday–Saturday.

Established in 1985, Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit organization that provides equine assisted activities to individuals with physical, educational, mental health, cognitive disabilities and other challenges. The program’s stated mission is to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities through participation in equine assisted activities. Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center operates under the guidelines of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.), is a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center, and all instructors are PATH Intl. certified. The organization notes that clients develop physical strength and better mobility, self-esteem, and self-confidence while taking part in equestrian activities that accommodate their specific needs. The program also states that dedicated volunteers contribute in a variety of ways and are described as the heart of the program.
