Camp Whatakid

Camp Whatakid offers a variety of activities including Shake & Wake, park trips, water days, group games, daily events, outside play, Friday events, and dress-up days. Campers also spend time cooking, crafting, and experimenting as part of the daily program. The camp day runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with an extended day option available from 6:30 am to 6:15 pm.

Camp Whatakid is a faith-based camp. The overall mission of Camp Whatakid is to invest in the hearts and minds of young children through fun and rewarding activities to help them grow and mature so they may be better prepared for full and rewarding lives. Camper and parent information includes details about health and safety, what to bring, dress codes, food and snacks, and Kiss & Ride procedures. The staff consists of education and nursing majors, track runners, football players and softball players, aspiring actors and musicians, mothers, and those studying trades such as welding and auto mechanics. The staff mirrors the unique community of campers and provides a safe connection to one another.
