Camp Whatakid offers days that include Shake & Wake, park trips, water days, group games, daily events, outside play, and Friday events. Campers also take part in dress-up days, cooking, crafting, and experimenting throughout the summer. Camp Whatakid 2026 will run for 8 weeks.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Camp day 8:00 am–3:30 pm with an extended day option from 6:30 am–6:15 pm, offered over an 8-week season
The overall mission of Camp Whatakid is to invest in the hearts and minds of young children through fun and rewarding activities to help them grow and mature so they may be better prepared for full and rewarding lives. The staff consists of education and nursing majors, track runners, football players and softball players, aspiring actors and musicians, mothers, and those studying trades such as welding and auto mechanics. The staff mirrors the unique community of campers and provides a safe connection to one another. The staff at Camp Whatakid is described as a unique team of individuals serious about investing in the lives of children and being positive role models. Camp Whatakid is a place for rising kindergarteners through rising 7th graders to make new friends, be curious and creative, learn valuable skills, and experience an unforgettable summer filled with excitement and fun. Camp Whatakid is eager to provide outstanding service and a quality environment for children's summer adventures. Camp Whatakid is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and exciting experience for all campers. Camp Whatakid strives to meet each camper's individual needs and provide an atmosphere for social growth and development while maintaining excellence, value, and purpose within its programs and facility.
