Lynchburg Parks and Recreation Youth Programs

The Lynchburg Parks & Recreation Youth Programs are led by a team that includes Director Wyatt Woody; Support Services Manager John Ramsey; Recreation Services Manager David Hackney; Park Services Manager Howard Covey; Parks Maintenance Supervisor Brian Glass; Facilities Supervisor Vic Williams; Athletics & Aquatics Supervisor Thomas Moore; Community Recreation Supervisor Hannah Rathje; Neighborhood Centers Supervisor Shaunta Jefferson; Administrative Supervisor Tamara Parker; and Volunteer Coordinator Jamey Love. The department has received recognition through two VRPS (Virginia Recreation and Park Society) awards. Community partners listed for these programs include the Lynchburg Museum System, Lynchburg Community Market, the Lynchburg City website, and The Commonwealth Games.
