The Child Development Center at Timberlake includes an Infant and Toddler portion of the facility called Avonlea’s Angels. The Infant and Toddler program operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and offers full-time care. The Preschool-Age Program operates Monday through Friday and offers both full-time and part-time care. The Before and After School Care program operates Monday through Friday until 5:30 PM. Summer Camp offers full-time child care Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 5-day and 3-day (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) options available. Children are divided into age groups for Summer Camp.
Staff at Timberlake Child Development Center are described as loving individuals who have training, education, and/or years of experience working with children. A dedicated team of staff nurture and care for children ages 6 weeks to 24 months. The program uses the Procare Parent App for contactless check-in and pick-up with GPS-enabled technology or QR codes. The Procare Parent App also allows sharing milestones, photos, and videos, and connecting activities to state standards.
Faith-based learning is offered for children ages 2–5 in a loving Christian environment. It is the mission of the Child Development Center at Timberlake to provide a loving Christian environment where children learn and grow spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially.
The Timberlake bus picks up children at New London Elementary in Bedford County. Campbell County buses pick up and drop off children who attend Leesville Road Elementary, Tomahawk Elementary, and Brookville Middle School. Through Kroger card registration, the center raises funds for the Financial Assistance Fund, and the Child Development Center receives cash back for this fund.
