New College Institute K-12 STEM Programs offers STEM-focused learning for K–12 students. The program uses the Center's Lecture Hall and classrooms with state-of-the-art technology for its activities.

The mission of New College Institute K-12 STEM Programs is stated as “Empowering the Next Generation Of Virginia's Workforce.” Through partnerships with local school systems, the Center provides STEM-focused learning for over 3,600 K–12 students each year. Through industry partnerships, the Center issues over 500 workforce training credentials annually. Unique features connected to the Center include real world skill building, high quality education, state-of-the-art facilities, convenient and affordable options, customized trainings and courses, personalized attention, and lifelong learning opportunities, as well as university partnerships with Longwood and Bluefield to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Parent and student testimonials about the Center describe experiences in degree programs and workforce training, including a master’s degree completed locally through a partnership with Radford, a Certified Fiber Optic Technician course, and a weekend master’s degree cohort with Averett University. Testimonials also describe graduates using their education in roles such as president of a local chamber of commerce, cybersecurity analyst, regional education consultant, and elementary school principal.
