Piedmont Arts Education + Classes

Piedmont Arts Education + Classes offers activities including a Bob Ross Workshop, Yoga in the Galleries, Chix with Stix, and access to the Discovery Room with free arts, crafts, and games. The Discovery Room is open to all ages for free arts, crafts, and games. The program also includes events such as Dancing for the Arts, an African American Read-In and Family Day, and the American Watercolor Society traveling exhibition.

• Schedule: Activities are scheduled on specific days and times, including the Bob Ross Workshop from 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8; Yoga in the Galleries at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10; and Chix with Stix at 10:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
• Price: Bob Ross Workshop tickets are $75 for members and $85 for nonmembers; Yoga in the Galleries tickets are $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers; Chix with Stix tickets are free for members and $5 for nonmembers.

The program is led by an executive director, Heidi Pinkston, along with a leadership team that includes Bernadette Moore, Pamela Allen, Jennifer Gravely, Jessica Graham, and Nathaniel Cooper. Community involvement includes Community Partners and participation in Kroger Community Rewards. The galleries close at times for exhibit installation, with new exhibits opening at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23.
