VSU C.A.M.P.S (College of Education Sponsored Camps) includes several programs with different themes and dates. Unite STEAM L.I.T., G.R.O.W.S., Future Trojan S.T.E.P., Sci-Tastic, and VSU Reading Aspiring by Poetry and STEM (R.A.P.S.) are all part of this set of College of Education sponsored camps. When school is out for the summer, these camps are hosted to give young people positive exposure to an educational setting, with camps focusing on a wide range of interests and learning opportunities for youth in the community.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Summer sessions with options in June and July, including weekday day camps and one overnight week
• Price: Unite STEAM L.I.T.: Free. G.R.O.W.S.: $250.00. Future Trojan S.T.E.P.: $75.00 per week / $225.00 total. Sci-Tastic: $75.00 per week / $225.00 total. VSU Reading Aspiring by Poetry and STEM (R.A.P.S.): $75.00 per week / $225.00 total.

Unite STEAM L.I.T. runs June 2–26, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is designed to provide students opportunities to understand and apply science, technology, engineering, and math to real-life situations. G.R.O.W.S. (Gaining Real Opportunities with Students) runs June 23–29, is all day, and is overnight, and is designed to prepare students for college and life experience. Future Trojan S.T.E.P. runs July 1–17, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is designed to provide interactive, culturally relevant, and integrated reading and math components and STEM activities. Sci-Tastic (Science Is Fantastic) runs July 1–17, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is designed to increase the skills, interest and confidence of elementary students to pursue careers in STEM fields. VSU Reading Aspiring by Poetry and STEM (R.A.P.S.) runs July 1–17, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is designed to provide opportunities for students to increase their reading skills through culturally relevant instruction and interest in STEM.
