SoHo Performing Arts is led by Mrs. Heather Orr, Founder and Artistic Director of SoHo Performing Arts LLC. Heather Orr is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator with training from the City University of New York (Hunter College) in Dance and Music, and additional training from Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and the William Esper Studio. The program includes both an Evening Stage musical theater program and a Day Stage musical theatre program, and it is described as having a supportive and inspiring environment with a teaching style that blends strong technique with joyful self-expression. The stated mission of SoHo Performing Arts is to ignite imagination, build boldness, and cultivate joy through the performing arts, and to grow storytellers, dreamers, and confident young voices through dancing, acting, and singing.
