CharacterWorks offers theater arts classes that include drama, voice, dance, and specialty theater arts training. The program also produces Broadway-style shows and full musical productions, and it offers musical theater-inspired classes along with musical theater summer and day camps, including overnight camps.

CharacterWorks has been offering classes, camps, and productions for students ages 6–18 since 2001. It is a faith-based non-profit 501(c)3 after-school theater program based around three foundational programs: theater arts classes, Broadway-style shows, and musical theater summer camps. Students enrolled in classes for ages 8–18 are eligible to audition for main stage shows, and productions are family friendly. CharacterWorks states that it is dedicated to the mission of honoring Christ, building character, and creating community through quality theater arts education and productions, and describes its mission as creating community through quality theater arts education and productions.
