NOVA of Virginia Aquatics was established in 1987 as a non-profit organization and began as a small non-profit organization to address the need for a structured, year-round swimming program. The club’s founder, Geoff Brown, served as Head Coach through 2020. NOVA’s mission is to ensure access to everyone in the community, regardless of socioeconomic, mental, or physical challenges, and states that safety, inclusion, and excellence are prioritized so that all individuals can participate and benefit from NOVA’s programs.
