About
HoneyTree Early Learning Centers uses iPads and Smart Boards in its classrooms so children can learn and play using this technology. The centers use a Tadpoles E-Communications system to share information with parents. The program teaches from nationally recognized curriculums supported by over 200 Early Childhood Professionals working together.
• Ages: 6 weeks–12 years old
• Schedule: Centers open at 6:15 am with daily extended hours
HoneyTree Early Learning Centers was founded in 1979 and has been locally owned and operated since then, serving generations of families. The mission of HoneyTree Early Learning Centers is to be a support system for families; appreciate, celebrate, and educate children and create an environment where staff, parents, and the community work together to provide all the pieces for a happy, healthy childhood. The organization identifies Kathy McLeod as the founder and driving force for 33 years. The centers feature coded front doors, fingerprint check-in, Certified CPR/First Aid Teachers, and continuous education in safety training. HoneyTree Early Learning Centers participates in the Virginia Quality Initiative and states a commitment to maintaining higher standards through this participation.
