US9 Baseball Camps offers full-day baseball camps, full-day softball camps, and half-day baseball-softball camps that include instruction and play. Campers take part in daily scrimmage games, trivia contests, and focused instruction on pitching, hitting, baserunning, fielding, game situations, rules, and sportsmanship. Activities include throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, baserunning, batting drills, and the use of safety balls, bean bags, and targets, and some full-day camps include daily swimming in a recreation center pool.

US9 Baseball Camps was established in Fall 2020 as the Northern Virginia expansion of the Boston Prospects and offers camps through Fairfax County Park Authority. The program’s mission is to develop the skills and positive winning-culture mindset players need to be competitive on their high school team, with a commitment to quality instruction, coaching, and opportunities, and a core belief in pushing for excellence and continued improvement on and off the field. US9 Baseball is also a travel baseball club for 13u–16u athletes seeking a more competitive level of play.

US9 Baseball coaches are described as seasoned. The leadership team includes Steve Mrowka as US9 Baseball Head Coach and Manager and Mike Cowell as US9 Baseball Associate Head Coach. Steve Mrowka served as a Bench Coach in the Can Am Professional Baseball League, coached at the collegiate level for 22 years including 8 years at George Washington University, has 609 career wins as a college head coach, coached 135 student-athletes who signed to play professional baseball including eight first-round selections and 17 major leaguers, was a two-year starter in the University of North Carolina Tar Heels infield, played in the Cape Cod and Alaska Baseball Leagues, was a ninth-round draft choice of the Boston Red Sox in 1985, and earned an M.Ed. in Sport Management from the University of Georgia. Mike Cowell has dedicated the last 20 years of his post-professional career to teaching young players, is a native Arlingtonian, played varsity baseball at W-L High School where he twice made 2nd Team All-State VA as a catcher in 1990 and 1991, led Division I in throwing out runners in 1993 and 1994 at Old Dominion University while starting as catcher every game, and his professional career included playing in the AA Western Baseball League under former MLB managers Jeff Burroughs and Buck Rodgers.
