Outdoor Adventure Experiences

Outdoor Adventure Experiences offers guided outdoor trips that include raft float trips, stand up paddle boarding, tube rental, paddle board kayaking, wild caving, river tubing, water caving trips, team building, summer adventure day camps, swimming hole trips, and river play trips. Most trips are guided and must be reserved in advance, and it is strongly suggested to reserve trip dates 5 to 15 days in advance. For cave trips, the program provides coveralls, gloves, and knee pads, and for cool weather river trips or water caving trips, it provides neoprene wetsuits, gloves, and socks.

• Ages: 9–18 years old
• Schedule: Half-day trips of 4 hours, 6-hour trips, 2, 4, and 6 hour guided raft float and stand up paddle boarding trips, 2 and 4 hour tube rental and guided tubing trips, 2, 4, and 6 hour guided paddle board kayaking trips, 4, 6, and 8 hour guided wild cave trips, 4 and 8 hour guided water caving trips, 2 and 4 hour guided team building experiences, and guided 6 and 8 hour swimming hole trips; almost all trips are guided and must be reserved in advance, and all 4 hour trips must start by 9:00 am and all 6 hour trips must start by 7:00 am, except on weekends
• Price: Customer Appreciation Discount Rate from December 1st, 2024 to December 31st, 2025: 4 hour trips $35.00 per person with a $140.00 minimum, 6 hour trips $40.00 per person with a $160.00 minimum, plus an additional $10 per person for water cave trips; transportation from the meeting location to the activity site and back is available for an additional $15 per person for drives up to 90 minutes (4 person minimum and 10 person maximum per van), and return transportation after river trips is provided for free

Outdoor Adventure Experiences offers year-round guided adventure recreation and operates as a home-based business that does not meet clients at the business location. The business meets clients at public boat landings for river trips or at public meeting spots where clients can use restrooms or get food, fuel, or snacks before following staff to caving or other activity sites. Trips under the Customer Appreciation Discount Rate must be led by the owner, Derek Young, and group size must be limited to 8 participants to receive the special price. The business was incorporated in 1996, and it is noted that it is rare to call one day and get a trip that day or the next because guides need to be scheduled in advance.
