About
Wolf Trap Education offers live theatre experiences, classroom engagements, and live performances, along with arts-infused instruction for classrooms. The program also includes on-the-job training for young professionals and professional development workshops for teachers. Families and educators can use video tutorials and lesson plans from Wolf Trap’s resource library to learn how to integrate the arts into learning.

Wolf Trap Education, a program of Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, believes in the value of the performing arts for learners of all ages. Together with its affiliates, Wolf Trap's educational programs reach more than 100,000 children, educators, and families across the U.S. and Singapore each year. Wolf Trap Foundation has one of the nation’s highest standards for quality performing arts and arts education, and Wolf Trap offers programming that educates, entertains, and engages. From preschool classrooms to college internships, Wolf Trap’s programs involve Wolf Trap Teaching Artists working alongside teachers to provide arts-infused instruction, and students have access to career growth and enrichment opportunities. Wolf Trap's resource library is searchable by arts discipline, developmental stages and domains, or learning focus, and offers free video tutorials and lesson plans.
Families can enjoy live performances together in a natural setting, and at summer concerts, tickets include free parking, picnic areas, and onsite food and dining options, with cooler and bag size limits and specific rules about where chairs are allowed on the lawn and where food may be taken. Wolf Trap is the only venue in the DC area that allows visitors to bring their own food and drinks, including alcohol, and FM Loop amplification headsets are available for the hearing impaired for most performances at no charge. Wolf Trap Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
