Lancerlot Sports Complex offers ice activities including hockey, public skating, figure skating, youth skating lessons, youth learning to play, youth leagues, collegiate games, and adult leagues. The program also offers swimming, swim lessons, personal training, group fitness classes, and public skating sessions. The facility includes a state-of-the-art ice rink, an Olympic size pool with lap lanes, an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a weight room, cardio equipment, an indoor track, a full range of group fitness classes, and child watch service.

It is an 85,000 square foot facility that is home of the Virginia Tech Hockey Team and hosts games at every level from youth to adult and collegiate. The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs executive offices are on site. The complex is under new ownership and management and is working to update and modernize the facility. In conjunction with partners CCA Marlins, Lancerlot Sports Complex offers swim lessons all year long and year-round swim lessons with CCA Marlins. The leadership team includes Joe Miller (General Manager), Kathleen Sink (Assistant Manager), Milton Clark (Big Ice Guy), David Oalmann (Aquatics Manager), Robin Hartman (Health & Fitness Manager, Personal Trainer), Kelly McCarty (Front Desk Manager), Meghan Noga (Figure Skating Director), Jake Lavoie (Referee Scheduler), and Jacob Johnson (Personal Trainer).
