Class ACT School for the Performing Arts offers live theater, interactive educational experiences, and performance arts programming for young actors. The program includes workshops, classes, and camps that focus on theater and the performing arts.

Since 1964, Anacortes Community Theatre (ACT) has presented consistent and high-quality live performances on its mainstage and in smaller productions. Class ACT School for the Performing Arts serves young actors in the Skagit Valley and has a year-round Class ACT education program. The program focuses on developing skills through the arts, including socializing, cooperating, building self-esteem, creating lasting relationships, and discovering opportunities for creative expression. It is committed to guiding children in making positive decisions through core values of kindness, respect, and responsibility. Class ACT workshops, classes, and camps take place in Anacortes, Washington, and the program also offers residencies at local schools throughout Skagit and Island counties. The staff is comprised of highly skilled and knowledgeable educators and performers. The 2025 Board of Directors includes Ron Wohl, Tracy Jonasen, Philip Prud’homme, Kathleen Brueger, Jenny Claridge, TJ Fantini, Billy Hendrix, Eal Lundquist, and Gary Molyneaux. Anacortes Community Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and it produces live theatre that entertains, engages, and inspires.
