About

The Class ACT education program is part of Anacortes Community Theatre’s year-round Class ACT education program. It is connected to the theatre’s mission of producing live theatre that entertains, engages and inspires. The program operates within Anacortes Community Theatre and its satellite location at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Since 1964, Anacortes Community Theatre has served Anacortes and the wider Skagit Valley by presenting consistent and high-quality live performances on the mainstage and in smaller productions, and this broader mission and community support has allowed ACT to also serve through the year-round Class ACT education program. Anacortes Community Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, guided in 2026 by a Board of Directors that includes Ron Wohl, Kathleen Brueger, Philip Prud’homme, Jenny Claridge, Billy Hendrix, Eal Lundquist, Gary Molyneaux, Mark Backlund, and Scott Geer. The organization’s vision statement is “Enthusiastic audiences, attending sold-out shows,” and it has a Values Statement and Code of Conduct that emphasizes kindness, patience, honesty, respect, creativity, safety, collaboration, and deepening human connections through theatre.
