Bainbridge Island Saddle Club is a membership organization whose purpose is to promote good horsemanship and foster amateur equestrian sports in the Bainbridge Island community and surrounding areas. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is the home of the Bainbridge Island Pony Club. The organization describes its environment as fun and supportive for all to learn and gain experience with their horses in financially accessible competition and holds an annual awards banquet at the end of the show season to celebrate and honor the achievements of members. The facility is available for rent and permits private and group riding lessons through member trainers holding a certificate of insurance. Bainbridge Island Saddle Club partners with other nonprofit organizations in pursuit of its purposes, and its current Board of Directors includes board members such as Madeline Nickel and Melissa Davis.
