Centralia Youth Sports offers competitive basketball teams and has future goals to add volleyball, baseball, flag football, and tackle football. In 2023, the program provided funding to support the start of boys and girls competitive basketball teams, including 4 boys teams and 3 girls teams that all played in a local league. Plans include supporting 6 boys and 5 girls basketball teams for grades 3rd through 8th.

Centralia Youth Sports is a nonprofit organization founded in the fall of 2023. It is committed to raising funds for organized sports opportunities for K–12 Centralia athletes, with a focus on development and community connection. The organization aims to build a holistic sports program beginning with grass roots and states that participants will have the opportunity to advance from their current level to their highest aspirations, guided by the principle that everything is earned, not given.
Funds from Centralia Youth Sports are used to purchase uniforms and basketballs and to help support tournament and league fees for the basketball teams. After school programs in the Centralia School District are primarily self-supporting through fees, and Centralia Youth Sports can help with additional funding for sports equipment and awards. Fundraising supports providing competitive opportunities and supporting Centralia School District K–12 athletics and after school programs.
The leadership team includes President Henri Weeks, Vice President Tom Alderson, and General Manager/Treasurer/Secretary Carissa Kaut, with board members Tim Ahern, Ryan Stockdale, and Ryker Gronseth. Centralia Youth Sports partners with the Centralia School District and welcomes individuals, organizations, and businesses interested in partnering to support Centralia School District youth programs.
