Heartwood Nature Programs offers Summer Camps, Holiday Break Camps, Huckleberries preschool & K, Salmonberries homeschool, Wildlings homeschool, Thimbleberries, After School, Cedar Seekers, and Stewardship. Camp Bigleaf 2027 Week 1 runs from June 21 to June 25, with additional Camp Bigleaf weeks listed from June 28 to August 6, 2027. Holiday Break Camps are offered during winter, mid-winter, and spring breaks and are priced at $85 per day.

About the provider
Heartwood is a locally run and operated 501c3 nonprofit organization made up of outdoor educators. Its mission is to connect youth and families to nature while fostering community around stewardship of wild spaces. The program provides outdoor enrichment classes for preschool, homeschool, and school-aged kids in the greater Seattle area, including Kirkland, Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville, Lake Forest Park, Brier, Shoreline, Seattle, Redmond, Bellevue, Snohomish, Edmonds, and Montlake Terrace.
Registration opens January 2027. Need-based financial assistance available for qualifying families. For Holiday Break Camps, scholarships are available. Campers are expected to be comfortable spending time outdoors in all weather conditions.
