About

The Central Park Junior Tennis Program offers tennis, fitness, pickleball, and Cardio tennis, along with private lessons, clinics, and junior team lessons. Participants also have access to workout activities and swimming as part of the program’s offerings. Adult USTA teams are also available through the same club structure as the junior program.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Options available Monday–Saturday from 6:00 am–10:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am–10:00 pm; during summer months the club may close early if there are no reservations

Central Park Tennis Club, established in 1972, is a member-owned club that is completely dedicated to tennis and is described as the premier tennis club in Kirkland, Washington. It has state-of-the-art tennis facilities with 18 courts, including 12 indoor and 6 outdoor courts, and is recognized as the largest member-owned hard-court indoor tennis club in the country. The club also offers fully equipped workout facilities, locker rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and food options, and it runs a well recognized junior program that starts with children from age 3 and goes up through age 18, with tennis for all ages and abilities.

All Pro Staff at Central Park Tennis Club are professionally certified in their specialty, and the tennis staff is described as a group of diverse and skilled professionals. Named staff include USPTA Tennis Professionals Phil Ansdell, Kathryn Osborne, Lisa Moldrem, Jeff Eicher, Mark Shkrebtan, and Nick Kamisar; USPTR Tennis Professional Blakeley Bean; and Program Director and Tennis, Fitness and Pickleball instructor Chad Smith, who is a USPTA elite professional and has served on the USPTA PNW board for 10 years and became President in 2018. Additional leadership includes Club Manager Mark Savoy, Membership Director Laurie Uhrich, Administrative Director Madison Corey, and Maintenance lead Chris Kenan. The club’s stated vision is to be an exceptional tennis club for members of all ages and abilities, and its mission is to provide an exceptional and comprehensive tennis experience for members along with the opportunity for social, fitness, and family activities.
