Seattle Wave Baseball Club is celebrating 26 years of mentoring and baseball. Its mission is to provide the highest level of personal development for student athletes, with a goal to inform, inspire, and instruct to maximize personal and athletic potential. The program highlights several guiding ideas, including “Train like a Wave,” “Come join the best training program in the Northwest,” “To Display Grit without Ego,” “To Have Passion for Process,” “To Be Innovative and Open to Learn,” “To Act with Transparency,” “To Inform, Inspire, and Instruct,” “To Promote Individuality,” “To Act with Care and Concern,” and “To Train Smarter Not Just Harder.” One parent, Bobbi C., states that Scott and his coaching staff offer top notch instruction, with a focus on strengthening to prepare for the season, prevent injuries, and create muscle memory for high level competition, and notes that families who have a son serious about baseball and willing to work hard should check out WBI.
