Academy Sports Center Volleyball Programs include the Academy Volleyball League, co-ed training and league play for beginner to intermediate 3rd–9th graders, and skills training with team competition. Participants take part in volleyball training and volleyball tournaments as part of these programs.
• Ages: 8–15 years old
• Schedule: Current session AVL Winter 1 runs January 5–February 27 with Level 1 (3rd–6th graders) from 4:30–6:00PM, Level 2 (7th–8th graders) from 6:00–7:30PM, and Level 3 (8th–9th graders) from 7:30–9:00PM on Mondays and Fridays; upcoming AVL Winter 2 runs March 2–April 10 with Monday and Friday practices and tournaments on select dates
Formed in 1998 by founders David Weitl, Raynani Reinhardt, and Diane Flick, Washington Volleyball Academy was established to provide advanced technical volleyball training to qualified student-athletes enabling them to compete successfully at the national level in their age group. The Academy Sports Center is the home to Washington Volleyball Academy, which is a juniors volleyball club founded in 1999.
