Red Curtain Foundation for the Arts – Youth Performing Arts Classes and Camps offers live theatre, music events, standup comedy, improv evenings, and concerts featuring local musicians. The organization is led by Scott Randall, RCF Artistic Director. Since its inception, Red Curtain’s mission has been to acknowledge and celebrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and these ideals are described as being at the heart of everything done at Red Curtain. The Red Curtain Arts Center states that its doors are open to all members of the Greater Marysville-Tulalip region and beyond who wish to strengthen the community through camaraderie, conversation, and the sharing of art. The program produces seven mainstage plays and two fully-staged student productions each season, offers ongoing year-round classes and workshops in performing arts for kids, teens, adults, and seniors, and offers special immersive production opportunities for kids and teens in the spring and summer. The organization states that it provides a safe space for everyone to meet, share ideas, and celebrate creatively, and that it welcomes members of the LGBTQIA+ communities, disabled or differently abled people, immigrants, and those who have ever felt excluded, overlooked, or silenced.
